Mason Boyles, M.F.A., Ph.D.

I am a professional writer, professor, tutor, and editor. My debut novel, Bark On, was published by Driftwood Press in 2023, and my short fiction has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize. I hold an MFA from University of California-Irvine and a Ph.D. from Florida State University. I have over seven years of postsecondary teaching experience, and currently serve as a graduate instructor at Florida State University and an adjunct at Tallahassee Community College. When I'm not writing, I enjoy hiking, climbing, strength training, surfing, messing up my fiancée's hair, and doting on our insouciant Maine Coon named Mishka.
